When I am with music I am me; the events of life seem to occur in a vacuum… Lucid, fluid, in existence only to flow together into a swirl of melodic reality. The title of this blog is a line from a beautiful poem by Jorge Borges that I will never forget. When I am with music, time in the chronological sense ceases to exist. It creates a fiction of time, destroyed. I am taking this line (out of context) to serve the purpose of creating an intriguing name for my blog and to illustrate the fact that poetry can be found in just about anything if you see things the right way… As an artist I appreciate the beautiful things in life, and it is my deepest belief that music is one of the most beautiful things ever created.
I put this together to make you a believer, too. Listen with all of your might, and love it with all of your heart.
I have taken most of the photographs on this site and it is my hope that I might successfully mesh the feeling from my playlist into its visual description…
